Happy (Father's Day) Weekend

The weekend is here, and a special one at that.  To all the dad's out there (especially mine)...Happy Father's Day!

This week was so incredibly busy.  Not only have I been working to catch up on emails and get back into client work after my vacation, but we have had dear family friends in town since Wednesday.  I have been non-stop since I got back and did not get near as much done as I would have liked by this point in the week.  I plan to spend the entire day working tomorrow, so if you're waiting on an email from me...hang in there.  Vacations are a wonderful thing, but the catch-up can be tricky sometimes.  (Totally worth it though!)

Saturday night I'm getting our friends together for one more birthday celebration for my sister, Erin.  She's had a pretty fantastic 30th birthday week, and I can't wait to catch up with some of my favorite people.

Speaking of this week, one of the highlights was definitely your incredibly kind, heartfelt comments on this post.  I wasn't sure what to expect and it's nice to know what perfection isn't a requirement around here.  You guys are seriously the best, and have renewed my love of blogging.  All I can say is thank you from the very bottom of my heart.  

And last but not least, summer has officially arrived in Dallas.  It's been in the upper 90s and I'm already tired of it.  I'm officially living in dresses, shorts and tees now.  It's hard to look cute (and have bangs) when it's so dang hot outside. Thank goodness for air conditioning and bobby pins, right?
