Maui

I have so many pictures from our trip to Hawaii that I could probably fill an entire week.  I'm gonna spare you the torture, and am going to break it down to just two parts instead: the scenery and the charming details. I realize these post might be a little bit boring, but I really want to have it for the "journaling" portion of the blog.  So stick with me...at least the pictures are pretty, right?

When we were flying in, the first thing I noticed was how bright and colorful the landscape was.  I must have commented on the color of the water twenty times.  It was the most glorious cobalt-teal-turquoise-aqua ombre that was so vibrant it didn't look real.  Just gorgeous.  The top photo was the view from my & Erin's room and I couldn't get enough of it (which is probably why I have way too many pictures of it).  While we spent a good amount of time enjoying the beach and pool, we spent one day in Kapalua Bay exploring the lava flows (again, stunning scenery).  I love Dallas, by man-oh-man it's hard to justify living in such a flat place when there's beautiful terrain like that in the world.
