Happy Easter weekend! Hope you all have had a fabulous week and are having an even better weekend. I spent the entire week house sitting for my parents, which meant spending lots and lots of quality time with Izzy, Rudy and Bella. It was a good week but all in all, I was happy to sleep in my own dog-free bed last night :)

Yesterday, I got off work at 3 and headed out to Rockwall to my best friend Sue's house. She and her hubby just built a house on Lake Ray Hubbard and it's FABULOUS! Her twin sister, Sarah and her fam are here for the weekend so it was GREAT to see them as well. We hung out, ordered in sushi and enjoyed the lake views. When I was leaving, Claire who's 3, did the cutest thing... I gave her a "goodbye" hug and she said, "Kel-we, you need to give my sister a hug, too!" So I told her to go get Olivia (who was upstairs playing with her cousins). Claire ran over to the stairs and yelled, "OWIVIA...Kel-we is Go-IN, come give her a hug!" It was the cutest thing and made me laugh. I love those kiddos! :)

Today I am going to take it easy, do laundry, run to the grocery store and such. I am making yummy party potatoes for Easter lunch tomorrow. I think they will be great with our ham! I can't wait to read about all of your Easter weekends on your blogs next week! I love this time of year :)

Now, because no post is fun without pictures, I wanted to show you a couple of my favorite things I got from my Canton trip a few weeks ago. My bedroom is very "shabby chic" and these finds fit in fabulously!
