i ♥ my bestie!

My best friend Sue ROCKS! She's been there for me in every part of my life. I am so close to her and her family {david, olivia & claire} and they are all truly a part of my family. {they even came to my parents for Christmas last year} Last night I went to her house in Rockwall for a BBQ and had a blast. We grilled chicken, drank some wine, hung out and even played horseshoes. They live on Lake Ray Hubbard to so it's so much fun to go out there to hang out and enjoy the amazing view and awesome company.

Right before I left, Sue gave me a present....a rug for my living room! It was somethin g she bought before they were in their house and it turns out that it doesn't match as she has gone with a more neutral, pottery barn-ish look {which is gorgeous!}. This rug matches my living room perfectly so she GAVE it to me. A $300 rug that she never used!! WOW. I love love love it. I love the way it looks in my black & white & turquoise living room. She is such an awesome friend!

Come decorate my house!! I LOVE all those colors. It looks great, and the rug completes it for sure. What a great friend. I especially love the vaccume lines on the carpet. So clean!!!

Very cute! I wish you lived in KC like I mistkanely thought you did when I first started reading your blog. Then I could beg you to come over and help me decorate!! Of course, that might be kind of weird since you don't know me...Doesn't it feel weird (but cool all at the same time) having complete strangers feel like they sort of "know" you?
