Happy Mother's Day!

I hope you have all had a fabulous weekend...especially all you mommy's out there.  Our day was great...I think my mom really enjoyed herself.  We started by going to church where we enjoyed a wonderful message that really coincides with my life right now.  It was titled, "What's Around That Corner" and it spoke of being at that point in your life where you are at a "corner" and not sure if you should turn it or not because you do not know what's there.  This was pretty amazing as I am at a few of those "corners" right now, but that's a whole other post.  Back to my mom.  After church we all met back at my g'mas and gave her gifts.  It was nice.

This evening I took all the fixin's over to grill out at my parents house, making sure my mom did not lift a finger.  I also made pasta salad and had yummy watermelon {I ♥ watermelon!}.  We watched her open gifts and ate outside by the pool {it was amazing out there!}  For dessert I made Symphony Brownies.  It's a Paula Deen recipe I found on Sunni's blog.  We added a scoop of vanilla ice cream to the top and YUMMY...they were delish!  I snapped a pic with my camera phone 'cause they were too pretty not to share with all of you. Sorry, I did not have my camera, so you'll have to settle for this:

Thanks for the recipe, Sunni!  They were super yumm!  I hope you all have a great rest of the week...and HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

Hi, Kelly! I check your blog almost every day even though I don't always post a comment. I'll try to get better at that. I'll have more blogging time this summer!

I've tagged you. Check out my blog for details. You may have already done this, if so, sorry. ;-)
