Case of the Mondays...

I have a serious case of the Mondays after being off 4 days! This time of year is REALLY slow for recruiters...it means you have to work a little harder to get things done.

I had a fabulous 4 days off! Thanksgiving was great! It was so good to be

 all together and my g'pa actually had a really great day that day. He said the most amazing blessing before dinner...we were all in tears. It was like he was saying all of the things that he feels in his heart. Amazing. Speaking of him...quick update: He had a biopsy on last Wednesday because they determined that the new tissue in his lung is live tissue. It can be scar tissue, pneumonia, or another tumor. So, he has a biopsy on Wednesday and we find out today what it is for sure. PLEASE say a prayer that it is one of the 1st two. He deserves a break!

Back to Thanksgiving...We had wonderful food (I pretended like there was no such thing as JC that day...hee hee) and even more wonderful conversations. We watched the Cowboys (THEY ROCK!), took the dogs for a walk, played poker and then went to see 'Beowulf' in 3-D. The entire movie was in 3-D which made it REALLY cool. I think had it not been in 3-D it would not have been as good.  Here are a few pics from the day:

Friday...
SHOPPING! YAY! But not the crazy, get up at 3 am and fight crowds shopping. We stayed away from the malls and big stores. I can't handle all that drama! We went to Old Plano & Downtown McKinney, where they have lots of little boutique-y stores. It was so fun! McKinney had this thing called "Dickens Christmas". It was very Christmas-sy and fun! I bought lots of fun holiday decor & a tree! YAY!

Saturday...
It was REALLY cold & rainy...the perfect kind of day to spend at home, so...I spent the entire day decorating my apt. with Christmas decor. It is pure fabulous-ness! I will post pics later. My tree is very girly and bling-y and fun. It's mainly pink and green. Can't wait to share pics with you all!

Sunday...
LAZY DAY! I relaxed & enjoyed my apt. full of Christmas fabulous-ness!

Now...some random things...
I am not doing Fabulous K Designs anymore.

I just don't have time! I was VERY lucky that so many people were interested in my designs but it's just way too much for me to keep up with. Don't worry...I will do ones for my friends here and there just because I love to do it! No more charging :)

PLEASE COMMENT so I can know you read it so I can read yours too! I love my blog time (thanks to Shauna for getting me hooked!) I would love the have even more people to exchange thoughts with.

Ok, final thought for today...
Would any of you local Dallas blog ladies be interested in getting together sometime in the month of December for a girls night? I know Shauna had one a couple months ago (that I unfortunately missed!). I thought it might be fun to do one for Christmas. Let me know if anyone would be interested. We can do one at mine or someone else's house or even do something as simple as all meet for coffee. Maybe even do an ornament exchange or something.

Any thoughts?
