Now...most of you know that I LOVE interior design...but did you know that I also love cosmetics?! I do. I am a make-up junkie! I love all kinds, especially anything new that comes out because I always have to try it. I could spend HOURS in Sephora. Seriously, I could (and have) :)
So, here is a list of my 5 favorite products...
#1 Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Position
This stuff rocks! It helps my eyeshadow stay on all day...even in the hot & humid summer conditions.
#2 STILA Smudgepots
I never use pencil eyeliner...it wears off too easily. I have several colors in this gel liner that you apply with a brush. It really stays on until you take it off. Genius!
#3 GUERLAIN Tan Booster
This bronzer is THE BEST! It is so natural & pretty. I actually use it instead of foundation or face powder in the summer. It gives me a gorgeous glow!
#4 Max Factor Stretch & Separate Mascara in Black/Brown
This stuff is the best mascara that no one uses. You can only get it @ Walmart & Ulta, but at around $6 a tube I buy them 2 and 3 at a time. It give my long but fine blonde lashes lots of 'ooomph'. I have even been accused of wearing fake lashes before! (I was not of course!)

I thought of you last night as I watched Design Star!! I was soo glad that Neeraja got the boot. I have to agree that Sparkle Josh did stand out last night. I was rather disapointed in all of the other designs. As far as the makeup I was a frequent/weekly Sephora online shopper since we dont have one in Amarillo, but we just got an Ulta and it is right across from my office. Lets just say that my husband was not suprised when I came home with a frequent shopper card.

I will have to try that mascara! Urban decay eyeshadow primer is one of my must haves too! I love it...it's pretty amazing. I also love my bare minerals!

I don't have many loves as far as make up. I kinda just flutter around. Growing up, I was a CLINIQUE girl. But once I got married, and we were so poor- I had to give that luxury up. So now I use stuff from the cosmetic isle at Target or Walmart. Maybe I'll go back to Clinique, since they sell it for cheaper and without tax on the base. But we'll see where our budget ends up.
One thing that I LOVE LOVE LOVE is this cute little website called www.eyeslipsface.com Pretty much everything they sell is A DOLLAR!!! You got that right! I didn't type-stutter. It's a dollar. A the WATERPROOF mascara is so great!! If you happen to sleep in your make up (I admit it happen to me on the days I actually get around to any make up being applied to my face!), you wake up with PERFECT mascara!! I was visiting my parents, and I got up one morning and my mom said "Why did you already put make up this morning, you haven't even showered??"
Obviously the negative of it is to "try" something- you pay $1 for the thing plus shipping. So you have to make sure you buy enough stuff to off set the cost of shipping.
Anyways- that's my list!!! ENJOY!
