Friday I was off of work (love that) so after sleeping in a bit I went an met my mom for a day of fun! We went to a bunch of little shops and then to some huge antique mall. It was so great! Then, we went to lunch at La Madeline (yummy) and went to more shops. We got lots of cute stuff...it was a fabulous way to kick off the long weekend!! (MY MOM IS SO FUN & FABULOUS, BTW!)
Saturday I woke up and headed down to the pool for some relaxin' and reading. I am currently reading "The Memory Keepers Daughter" and it is sooo good. But, that's a whole other blog. So I sat by the pool, read and hung out. After, I went and got a pedicure from the place by my apt, which I love because A) I can walk there and B)They use hot stones and do long massages in their pedicures. An hour later, I had pretty feet again! Saturday night was the wedding of my 2 friends, Dana & Cody. It was one of the best weddings I have been to because they are so in love and were both so excited. They were laughing and smiling and jumping up and down during the whole ceremony. The did a lot of un-traditional things for their wedding too, which I loved. For instance, after the ceremony, they walked down the aisle to U2's "A Beautiful Day" and at the reception, the bridal party was introduced to Fergie's "Glamorous". It was cool 'cause it is so Dana. I did not take too many pics (let's just say that we were all more focus on the wine!!) but here are a few:

Sunday was a low key day... I went to lunch with my best friend Sue & her 2 little girls, Olivia & Claire. They are so cute. We ate a The Purple Cow and hung out. No pics of that...sorry!
Now...on to Monday. GAME DAY! The beginning of TEXAS TECH's 2007 Football season. We had such a good time! It was at SMU...and let me tell ya, it might as well have been a Texas Tech home game! There were so many more Tech fans there. Look at this...All of that Red & Black (and even some of the white) are TECH fans! Whoa!
What was best is that because so many Tech fans were there, we were able to get "Raider Power" started. This is something that we do @ home games...one side of the stadium says "RAIDER" and the other says "POWER". It's pretty amazing to hear it...it's so loud. Amazing that we were able to do it on someone else's home turf... That's right...we rocked THEIR house!
And we won...49 to 9. GO TEXAS TECH!
