Go STARS!

Last night my best friend Sue & I went to the Stars game. I got a hold of our awesome company seats (& parking pass!) so we headed down to the AA Center to watch our Dallas Stars take on the Edmonton Oilers. Here are a few things I learned while at the game:

• Hockey players are HOT.
• Hockey players are flexible...especially goalies.
• It does not matter how cold it is in the arena, girls will still dress like complete hookers (or "hooks" as Sue & I like to call them).
• Hockey players are HOT. Oh wait, I already said that.
• Hockey is MUCH better in person.
• I want a Zamboni.

So, as you can see, I learned a lot. I have been to Stars games in the past but for some reason is was extra fun last night! I took pics for all you bloggers {of course!}

Sue & I at the game The super high-tech Zamboni. There was actually a plasma TV strapped to the front. If you look closely you will actually see that even Santa & Mrs. Clause were there! We had the most fabulous seats. They were perfect {and free...love that!} This was right after they scored a goal {they scored 5 total...so fun!} During pauses in the game (for commercials) they would play Christmas carols. Even the Stars were in the holiday spirit! LOVE IT!After the game we watched the Channel 8 news broadcast. Their studios are right outside of the AA Center. It was fun to see them in action & it's completely different than what you see on TV. Here's Sue enjoying all the behind the scene shenanigans.
So, all in all, we had a blast! The Stars won, 5-4, in overtime.
