I can't believe that Christmas is a week from TODAY. Wow...where has the month of December gone? I am starting to get more and more excited about the holidays even though I still have a TON to do. I have a few gifts left to get and still need to figure out what to get my work secret Santa along with what to bring to our luncheon on Saturday. But, all in all, I am excited. This year will be a little different for us for a few reasons... First of all, it is our 1st Christmas in 2 years that we're all living back in Big D, so I am excited about that. The real change is that we are opening our gifts from our parents on Christmas Eve. We usually all spend the night at my parent's house and then wake up Christmas morning and open them all but this year my brother has to work on Christmas day. (He works for a police department here). I am excited to open gifts a day sooner but am a little sad to be changing up the tradition. New traditions are fun too though!
It's a SLOW time at work. The last 2 weeks of the year are a slow time for recruiters like myself because of one word: vacation. Most of my managers & candidates are on vacation or out of pocket until the new year, making it a long 8 hours. What to do when you are trying to pass the time? Here's your answer:

FUN! (That book is the same author that did the "Something Borrowed/Something Blue" books...they are fun "light" reads) On another note...I am down 31 pounds in 13 weeks. Who would have thought I would have lost weight this month??? Not me! :) Oh, yeah... and my b'day is a week from Saturday..YAY!
Have a FABULOUS Tuesday!
