It's Monday. I actually feel pretty good about THIS particular Monday... 'cause I am back on track. I am back on the Jenny and feeling good. I had a great weekend...here is the summary:
- Watched "The Nanny Diaries".... so cute... loved it.
- Went to JC... did not weigh, just picked up food. Told consultant I needed one solid week of working out and eating perfectly before stepping on the scale. She understood. {I ♥ her 'cause she gets it}
- Went shopping with BFF, Sue & her 2 little girls, Olivia & Claire
- Watched "The Waitress"...WAY CUTE...see it, if you have not already
- Cleaned apartment, did laundry & showered all by noon on Sunday. That meant I had time to enjoy the afternoon and beautiful sunshine...so I went to Central Market and bought TONS of yummy fruits & veggies, went and said hi to my parents & the puppies and then went home and RELAXED
So, it was a good {but too short, as always} weekend!
NOW... for all you out there who have started your NEW YEARS RESLOUTION of losing {or maintaining (Jill!)} your weight this year... I am so excited to be sharing this resolution with you girls! HOW COOL! Blogging rocks. I am excited for all of us! YAY! In September I started Jenny Craig and am down 31 pounds so far. I still have a LONG way to go but want to take a moment to {publicly} remind myself WHY I am doing this:
- I feel SO much better already. If 31 pounds makes this much of a difference, image what another 30 will feel like!
- Clothes are way more FUN the smaller I get!
- Compliments rock...it's so fun to hear when someone notices my progress!
- I have some trips coming up this summer and I want to be another 30 pounds lighter for those!
- I feel kind of cool when I work out. Hee hee. Seriously, I do.
- I turn 30 this YEAR! What better way to celebrate than to be at my goal weight! I can't wait!
It's hard to lose weight. But it's easier when you have support and I promise to support all of you as you support me! WE CAN BE OUR HEALTHIEST in 2008! GO US!
One more thing...I am going to begin to take some steps to make some career changes in '08 as well. Please, please, please say a little prayer for me. I really need to find some career happiness this year! :)
Have a wonderful day! (Happy pretend Spring...it's gonna be almost 80 today! WOW!)

I think I'm going to take your lead and blog about my upcoming weight loss. WW is a good way to keep me accountable, but perhaps if I blog about it, it will hold me to it even better! I've always been a little bit wary of addressing that issue on my blog. It's easier just to pretend like it's not there...but pretending is all I'm doing. So, blogging it is! Thanks for the encouragement!
You are doing AWESOME! I'm so impressed... it took me over a year and a half to lose 40 pounds. Keep up the great work!
first of all...way to go on the 31 pounds! I loved the pretend spring day, although I didn't leave my desk all day...but it looked pretty!
I watched both of those movies last weekend...I liked them both too!
Hope you have a happy Tuesday!
Wow, awesome! 30 lbs is something to be proud of! Kind of makes me want to go join Jenny Craig tomorrow!
Saw the Waitress, and loved it!
Kelly-
Because of you, I plan to start doing Jenny Craig TODAY!
I just dropped Rob off for his deployment.
So might as well start today as if it were January 1st. My new year.
And I'm going to go joing a gym down the street.
I told Rob...when we were "doing laundry" before he left "This is the last time you have to do IT with a fat lady." :) hehehe!
I hope to SURPRISE him in 4 months when he comes home...and have a ROCKIN' body.
Thanks for the inspiration!
I'm coming to Dallas this weekend- maybe. And I'll be there all next week. We need to get Shauna to get together with us to have a fun evening. Let me know if that's good with you.
WOOT WOOT to shedding these pounds.

I forgot to mention in my other comment that I am also TOTALLY with you on the career changes. I'm thinking about changing to a new career myself! I don't think I was created to be a teacher. So figuring out what else I can do and want to do is the hard part! I'll be praying that you can find something as fabulous as you are!
I'm not really sure how I stumbled upon your blog but I'm glad I did! When I saw you wrote about being back on track with Jenny I knew you had to mean Jenny Craig! I'm on that program too. I have been for a few months. It's been a slow process but like you, I'm back on track! I will say I have been getting a little tired of the food. I got the "creative" cookbook for their food and I really like it! Anyway, good luck!! I still have 15-20 pounds to go! It seems like a million!
One week on WW here and I'm with you - feeling good & very proud of myself. One week isn't a long time, but I'm feeling like this time, I'll be a success! Thought you might like this website, if you haven't already seen it: www.hungrygirl.com
